The Remains of the Day

The Remains of the Day presented the aftermath of a durational work: Campus Cuties figures, cast in wax, burned down around a central column over the course of the exhibition. What remains are fragments, fallen forms, accumulated debris enclosed within a white picket fence that transform a temporary performance of endurance into an archaeological field of residue, loss, and persistence.
